The following organisational roles need to be clearly defined:
- Someone to take ownership of condition monitoring as a whole. They will assume the role of Administrator, who will determine the roles of all users interacting with felix.
- Analyst roles -will need to be appointed to suppliers of condition monitoring analysis
- All users contributing to feedback defined, and trained
- Condition assessors to interpret outside suppler reports to resolve and load as standardised findings, recommendations, status and supporting evidence
Leverage existing legacy CM efforts
The more history available to assessors the more intelligence about the asset under analysis they will have at hand, and the knowledge trapped in that history can be put to use.
- Find all prior condition assessments
- Group by technology and supplier
- Determine health index standardisation rules
- Import legacy reports
Review processes to make use of collaborative condition health assessment.
- Alignment of alarm status rules between assessment technologies and practitioners
- External suppliers interacting with the system trained etc.
- Where necessary review internal processes around condition monitoring reporting, endorsement, and notification processes.
- Make access to Felix available to all interested parties.
